Aetroq is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant standards and best practices so that our website and digital deliverables are as accessible as possible.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and to comply with applicable accessibility laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the European Accessibility Act (EAA), and similar legislation where we operate. Our design and development processes consider accessibility from the outset, including semantic structure, keyboard navigation, colour contrast, and compatibility with assistive technologies.
We integrate accessibility into our workflow by: using semantic HTML and ARIA where appropriate; ensuring sufficient colour contrast and not relying on colour alone to convey information; providing text alternatives for non-text content; enabling keyboard navigation and visible focus; designing for different viewport sizes and zoom; and testing with screen readers and other assistive tools where feasible. We also select and configure third-party tools (e.g. analytics, forms) with accessibility in mind.
Some third-party content or legacy components may not fully meet our accessibility targets. We work with providers to improve this and will replace or supplement such content where possible. Dynamic or highly animated content may pose challenges for certain users; we provide ways to reduce motion or access key information in alternative ways where practicable.
